How to Create Your First Bundle in the app.

This guide will help you set up your first bundle in Shopify using the Profit Bundles app.

Prerequisite

Download and install the Profit Bundles app.

Before You Begin

There are two ways to create your first bundle in Profit Bundles, depending on whether you already have a parent bundle product in your Shopify store.

Let's go through both methods:

Option 1: You Don't Have a Parent Bundle Product Yet

If you have not already created a parent bundle product in your Shopify admin, you can create one directly from the Profit Bundles app.

Create a New Parent Bundle Product Directly from Profit Bundles

To create a new parent bundle product:

Open the Profit Bundles app and go to the Bundles tab.
Click Create New Bundle.
Select “No! not yet, I need to create a new Shopify product”.
A new window will open where you can create your parent bundle product.
Enter the title for your parent bundle product.
Click Select Products and choose the child items you want to offer as part of the bundle.
Set the required quantity for each child item.
Click Save.
Select the pricing and category for the bundle.
Review all the bundle details.
Click Create.

Profit Bundles will automatically create the Shopify parent bundle product and attach the selected child items to the bundle.

Please note: Bundles will be saved in an unpublished state with the child items already attached. Open them from the bundle list to review and publish.

Option 2: You Already Have a Parent Bundle Product

If you already have a parent bundle product in your Shopify store, you can attach child products to it by following the steps below.

Step 1: Open the Profit Bundles App

From your Shopify dashboard, navigate to Apps.
Click on Profit Bundles to open the app.
Navigate to the Bundles tab.

Step 2: Create a New Bundle

Click on Create New Bundle.
Select the parent bundle product from the product selector.
If needed, select a specific variant of the product as well.

Step 3: Select Products for the Bundle

Add child components for your bundle.
These are the actual items that will be shipped when an order for this bundle is placed.
Specify the quantity for each child item (the number of units included in the bundle).

Step 4: Set Bundle Properties

Set the bundle weight and price.
Enable Automatic Bundle Inventory Sync to keep stock levels updated across your store.

Step 5: Publish the Bundle

Review all details carefully.
The app will show all changes it will make to your parent bundle product, including updates to weight, inventory, and price.
Click Save and Publish.

Once published, the app will automatically listen for orders containing this bundle. When an order is received, the app will process the bundle according to the bundle definition and your store settings.

Editing Bundles

You can edit the bundle anytime as per your requirements. You just have to click on the Edit button in the bundle listing page in the app, and on the editing screen you can update the child components of the bundle.
