Auto Sync By Sku – Setup & Best Practices In multistore setup
This guide explains how to enable Auto Sync by SKU in the app and ensure accurate, real-time inventory syncing across connected Shopify stores.
What is Auto Sync by SKU?
Auto Sync by SKU automatically syncs inventory in real time for products that:
- Share the same SKU across stores
- Exist in associated locations
Once enabled, any inventory change in one store is instantly reflected in the other connected stores.
How to Enable Auto Sync by SKU
- Make sure your stores and locations are already connected in the app
- Go to App Settings → Automations
- Enable Auto Sync by SKU
That’s it — real-time inventory syncing will start automatically.
Important Prerequisite (Must Read)
Before enabling Auto Sync by SKU, the app assumes that all inventory levels are already correct.
Before you turn Auto Sync ON:
- Verify your physical stock counts
- Fix any mismatched inventory levels in Shopify
Using the Master–Child Sync Utility
If one store already has the correct inventory and you want to copy those quantities to another store, follow these steps:
- Deactivate Auto Sync by SKU
- Go to App Settings → Automations
- Use the Master–Child Sync Utility (available below Auto Sync settings)
- Select the Master Store (store with correct inventory)
- Select the Child Store (store that needs to be updated)
- Start the sync process
Once the sync is completed successfully, you will receive a confirmation email.
After this, you can safely re-enable Auto Sync by SKU.

Test the Setup
To confirm that everything is working correctly:
- Choose a product that exists in multiple stores with the same SKU
- Update its inventory in one store
- Check the same product in your other connected stores
If Auto Sync is set up correctly, the inventory update will reflect across all stores in real time.
