FAQs Regarding Inventory Syncing

Here are a few common scenarios and best practices to help you manage inventory syncing efficiently through our app.

1. Adding New Stock

Whenever new stock arrives, simply update the quantity in any one of your connected stores.

The app will automatically sync the updated inventory across all duplicate products.

2. Adding a New Duplicate Product

If you add a new duplicate product:

  • Make sure it has the same SKU or barcode (based on your chosen matching method).
  • Ensure “Track inventory” is enabled.
  • Confirm that the stock quantity matches for the newly added duplicate item.

Once this is set up, the new duplicate will automatically start syncing with other duplicate from the next inventory change (delta).

3. Removing a Duplicate Product

If you no longer want a product to be part of the sync:

  • You can simply delete it, or
  • Change its SKU/barcode so it no longer matches other duplicates.

4. Syncing From Master Store to Child Stores

Before turning on auto-sync, if some of your associated store don’t have the correct inventory but one (the master store) have correct inventory, you can use our Master → Child Bulk Sync Utility:

  1. Go to the app settings and click on Automations → Master Child Sync Utility, located below the Auto Sync settings. Here in the Master → Child Bulk Sync Utility section click on Initiate Sync button.
  2. Select your master store and the target (child) stores.
  3. Run the task — the app will email you once it’s complete.

Once done, all your duplicates across connected stores will reflect the correct inventory. You can then activate auto-sync.
